CTOnews.com December 13 news, if nothing happens, AMD will show a new generation of Ryzen 7000 series 3D cache models on CES 2023, as well as a new generation of APU and other products, making it possible to compete with Intel.

CTOnews.com has reported that last week it was reported that AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7000 X3D series processors will be available in 8-core, 12-core and 16-core versions, but the frequency is very conservative and is said to maintain a main frequency similar to the base model, that is, it can only reach 5.7GHz.

We assume here that the 8-core, 12-core and 16-core models, named Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 9 7950X3D, will use AMD's next-generation 3D V-Cache technology to further improve game performance.

According to Quasar Zone, the Ryzen 7000 X3D processor in AMD's plan will have fewer disadvantages than its previous generation of R7 5800X3D, with the strongest R9 7950X3D being 33% faster than Intel's i9-13900K processor in one game, 15% higher in another, and even 5% higher in one game.

It is worth mentioning that the impact of 3D V-Cache on games varies from game to game. For example, the performance improvement of R7 5800X3D in very old DX9 online games such as "Dungeon & Fighter" is extremely exaggerated, while there is little improvement in some 3A masterpieces that are not sensitive to caching.

"there will be three core versions in 8-12-16, and the AMD Ryzen 7000 X3D processor is expected to be unveiled on CES next year."
