It is reported that in the first three quarters of this year, the added value of Shenzhen's overall green and low-carbon industry increased by 13%. In 2021, the energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP in the city were about 1/3 and 1/5 of the country's, respectively.

Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, said: "in the past decade, BYD and Shenzhen have worked together to find a way to transform new energy vehicles." At present, under the promotion of the goal of "double carbon" and the wave of new energy transformation in the automotive industry, BYD has become the world's largest new energy car company by sales, and has won 1/4 of the market share in the domestic market. From January to November this year, sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 6.067 million, double that of the same period last year, according to the China Automobile Association. In the first 11 months, BYD ranked first in the country with 1.6283 million vehicles.
