Samsung has begun ordering clean room equipment for its new chip plant in Texas

According to foreign media reports, Samsung Electronics has ordered the system ceiling materials, outdoor air conditioning and other equipment needed before the construction of the clean room, and the relevant manufacturers have received orders from Samsung Electronics, which will be delivered in January next year.

However, foreign media reported that Samsung Electronics has not yet ordered fan filter units and other core equipment for clean rooms for its new chip plant in Texas, but foreign media are expected to order them in the first half of next year.

Samsung Electronics's new chip factory in Taylor, Texas, was officially announced on November 23 last year, and plans to be put into operation in the second half of 2024. After completion, it uses advanced process technology to manufacture products for smartphones, 5G, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence and other fields.
