CTOnews.com, December 15, Linux 6.2 has confirmed that a large number of network subsystem updates will be merged during the merge window. As in previous versions, the Linux 6.2 kernel update cycle has a lot of improvements in network functionality, and more details can be found in this pull.

Protective load balancing (Protective Load Balancing) across switch links is implemented in the TCP kernel code.
The speed of the TUN network driver has increased from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps.
Prepare to support 800Gbps network
New wired hardware driver support includes Marvell Octeon CNF95N and CCN10KB, Marvell Restera AC5X, WangXun 10 Gigabit, MotoComm YT8521, Microchip KSZ9563, Microsoft Azure Network Adapter and Linux Automation 10Base-TIL adapters.
New wireless driver efforts include enabling MediaTek WiFi 7 802.11be devices and Realtek rtw8821cu, rtw8822bu, rtw8822cu and rtw8723du USB device support.
New Bluetooth hardware support includes Broadcom BCM4377/4378/4387 chipset and Realtek RTL8852BE / RTL8723DS.
Intel's IWLWIFI driver enables the WiFi 7 extremely High Throughput (EHT) PHY feature and 320MHz channel support.
The Realtek RTW89 WiFi driver now supports the Wake-Over-WLAN feature.
Continue to enable and deploy Wi-Fi 7 based on the previous kernel
The IPSec code adds a new "packet offload" type to allow full header processing and encryption offload.
Support bridging MAC authentication bypass (MAB).
Supports user-defined BPF objects. This is used to eventually allow developers to use BPF to build their own data structures, such as linked lists.
