The efficiency of Longji p-type and indium-free HJT battery broke the world record again, reaching 26.56% and 26.09% respectively.
Thank you, Mr. Air, a netizen of CTOnews.com, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com December 16 news, Longji Green Energy announced yesterday that based on the full-size M6 single crystal silicon wafer and the self-developed mass production process, Longji Green Energy has set a new world record for 26.56% conversion efficiency of p-type HJT battery and 26.09% indium-free HJT battery based on the certification report of German Hamelin Institute of Solar Energy (ISFH).
CTOnews.com learned that Longji Green Energy said that in response to the long-standing pain point problem of HJT batteries, the company's R & D team successfully achieved a conversion efficiency of 26.56% on Longji commercial gallium-doped silicon wafers, which was 0.44% higher than the 26.12% p-type HJT battery efficiency announced in September this year, once again setting a record for p-type silicon battery efficiency.
For indium-free HJT batteries, Longji Green claims that the R & D team has replaced the traditional indium-based transparent conductive film with abundant, cheap, safe and environmentally friendly thin films, achieving a conversion efficiency of more than 26%.
Longji Green Energy data show that since April 2021, Longji Green Energy has refreshed the world record of battery conversion efficiency for 12 times in n-type TOPCon, p-type TOPCon, n-type HJT battery, p-type HJT battery, indium-free HJT battery and other technical fields. In November, Longji Green Energy also set a world record of 26.81% for silicon solar cell efficiency.
