On December 14, Ningde Times signed a memorandum of cooperation with Huawei in Ningde, Fujian Province. According to the cooperation memorandum, the cooperation between the two sides will focus on Huawei's smart car selection project. Huawei Terminal will recommend Ningde Times as the first preferred partner of Huawei Smart car selection partner, and Ningde Times will provide Huawei Smart car selection project with high-quality car power battery products with market competitiveness.

On the same day as signing the memorandum of cooperation with Huawei Terminal, Ningde Times also signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Chery Group. It is worth mentioning that Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Group, is also in the same frame with Zeng Yuqun, chairman of Ningde era, and Yu Chengdong, managing director of Huawei, consumer BG CEO, and smart car solution BU CEO. Yu Chengdong also appeared in the scene photos in which Ningde era signed an agreement with Chery Group.

CTOnews.com learned that Yin Tongyue said on Yaoguang 2025 Chery Technology DAY in September that Chery would work with Huawei to build a "big project" with a number of models designed and manufactured by Chery. There is a view in the industry that the cooperation model between Chery and Huawei may be a "smart car" model, but this claim has not yet been officially confirmed.
