CTOnews.com news on December 18, learned from BYD that BYD India signed an order for the chassis of 150C9 tourist buses with Indian electric bus manufacturer OGL in May this year.

BYD said that after six months of design, preparation and production, the first 72 tourist bus chassis were all put into storage on November 28 and shipped from Tianjin Port to India in December; the remaining 78 coach chassis are expected to be stored at the end of December and shipped to India in January 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the 150 pure electric intercity tour buses will be put into the fleet of Karnataka Road Transport Group (KSRTC) and Maharashtra Road Transport Group (MSRTC) in the future.

By December 16, 2022, BYD had delivered a cumulative total of 1065 pure electric bus chassis to partner OGL. As of November 30, 2022, the cumulative mileage of BYD electric bus in the market has reached 77948863 km, and the maximum mileage for bicycles is 385383 km.
