"League of Legends" 2022 purification results: intentional head players reduced by 50%, abusive / hang-up players reduced by 1%

CTOnews.com December 19 news, Tencent game security center today announced "League of Heroes" 2022 purification results. Officials say that in 2022, the number of players who deliberately give their heads will decrease by about 50%, and the number of players who send abusive comments and hang up in the game will decrease by about 1/3.

Tencent's game security team continues to monitor and crack down on malicious advertising, malicious abuse, illegal nicknames and other violations, blocking an average of 1,385,002 malicious abuse messages per day and blocking 893,842 malicious advertising harassment in 2022, officials said. Officials impose severe and swift penalties on accounts that send advertising invitations, blocking an average of about 30,000 malicious accounts a day.

In terms of plug-in, in 2022, Tencent's game security team hit 1188 plug-in models in total throughout the year, covering such plug-in functions as automatic continuous moves, dodging skills, walking cuts, automatic hang-up, skin changing, etc. As the crackdown on plug-ins continues, in-game cheating accounts are down about 26% from 2021, while reported accounts are down 17%.
