The former has a maximum 8-core Zen4 CPU + 12CU RDNA3 core display, 15-35W + power consumption, while the latter has a maximum power consumption of 2 Zen4 + 4 Zen4C CPU, the highest 4CU RNDA3 core display, 15-28W power consumption. According to previous sources, the 128-core EPYC Bergamo will use Zen4C, a high-density multithreaded architecture tailored by AMD for cloud-based native applications. Zen4C may be the small nucleus of AMD.

In terms of nomenclature, R7 7840U showed 8 nuclei Zen4 + 12CU, and R7 7740U 2 Zen4 + 4 Zen4C + 4CU.
