CTOnews.com, December 25, some foreign media have taken winter test photos of the next-generation BMW X2 prototype test car. The new car, positioned as an all-electric sedan SUV, is expected to make its global debut in the middle of next year, followed by production by the end of the year.

Although the model is well camouflaged, we can see that the model will adopt a new design, including cross-border back-sliding style, and look smoother as a whole.

The BMW iX2, which will be built on the BMW FAAR platform and may share powertrain with the BMW iX1, is expected to be unveiled in mid-2023 and go into production in November. As a reference, the iX1 uses a dual-motor configuration, with 313hp (230kW) and 494Nm of torque, and is expected to launch a single motor and front-wheel drive model.

CTOnews.com learned that the BMW iX1 has an acceleration time of 5.7s and is equipped with a 64.7kWh battery pack with a range of 410km to 435km.
