According to introduction, traditional DR (digital X-ray photography) equipment usually only has a range of about 40cm×30cm due to the size limitation of the detector. Once it is necessary to take medical images of the whole spine or lower limbs in the diagnosis process, it is necessary to take 3 medical images, which are spliced by digital means in the later stage. Once the patient moves, it is necessary to repeat the shooting process, which takes a long time and has a large radiation dose.

Compared with traditional DR, which requires 3 exposures, full-frame DR requires only 1 exposure, and the entire imaging process takes only 12 seconds. There is a significant improvement in inspection speed and accuracy.

CTOnews.com learned that Wang Huan, general manager of Wandong Medical Domestic Marketing Center, said that through full-width DR equipment, imaging of the whole spine and lower limbs of the human body can be realized within 12 seconds, reducing the number of shots by 2/3, greatly reducing the radiation dose, and respecting every second of life through the power of science and technology.
