CTOnews.com, December 28, the California San Bernardino County Fire Department updated its official Facebook today, saying that after receiving a call from a family member to track their family's iPhone through the Find My function, a woman who fell off a cliff on Highway 18 in the San Bernardino Mountains was successfully rescued.

CTOnews.com learned that the San Bernardino County Fire Department said in a post that the woman had attended a family reunion on Christmas Day and then drove back to her home. But the family still could not contact the woman the next morning and then tracked her through Apple's Find My function.

The family continued to investigate and drove along Highway 18 north of 40th Street in San Bernardino and found that the woman's car had overturned. The fire department said one of the family members called 911 to report the incident, and rescuers arrived at the scene and were successfully rescued.

The woman was eventually taken to an ambulance and taken to a local trauma center in an unknown condition.
