The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of the first batch of pilot enterprises for self-examination and self-certification of telecom equipment, including Huawei, Glory, OPPO, ZTE and so on.
CTOnews.com, December 29, according to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has now issued a notice on the announcement of the first batch of pilot enterprises for self-examination and self-certification of telecommunications equipment access licenses (hereinafter referred to as "the circular").
The circular pointed out that in order to further promote the high-quality development of the telecommunications equipment industry, through enterprise declaration, material review, and expert review, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. and other five enterprises have been identified as the first batch of pilot enterprises for self-examination and self-certification of telecom equipment access license.
CTOnews.com learned that the list shows that Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., Glory Terminal Co., Ltd., OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., Datang Mobile Communication equipment Co., Ltd., ZTE Co., Ltd., self-certification equipment types related to telecommunications terminal equipment-mobile user terminals, radio communication equipment-wireless base stations, the pilot period is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a circular on December 8, organizing the pilot work of self-examination and self-certification of telecom equipment access license. The relevant notice shows that when a pilot enterprise applies for a network access permit for telecommunications equipment, in addition to special testing items such as network security, it may use its own enterprise test report instead of a third-party inspection report; it may, on the premise of making relevant commitments, be exempted from submitting application materials on the production capacity, technical strength and quality assurance system of the enterprise or its entrusted production enterprise. It should be noted that if the qualification of the pilot project of self-examination and self-certification is cancelled, it shall not be applied again within three years.
