Twitter experienced its first widespread outage since Musk took over, and the latter responded
IT House, December 29 (Xinhua) on Wednesday night local time, some Twitter users encountered a technical glitch while using a web browser to access the platform, which may be the first major outage since Twitter was acquired by Musk two months ago, affecting more than 10,000 people.
# TwitterDown has become a hot topic on Twitter. A few hours later, Musk tweeted: "with important back-end server architecture changes, Twitter should feel faster."
IT House learned that users who logged in to Twitter through a computer browser on Wednesday received an error alert and that the The Twitter Spaces real-time chat feature for mobile devices did not work properly. Other features of the Twitter app still seem to work, including sending tweets. Downdetector, a website that tracks outages, said about 10, 000 people reported Twitter outages on Wednesday night.
It is worth mentioning that Musk was asked earlier on the Twitter platform if there was any service outage, when he tweeted: "I am normal here."
