BYD sold 235197 new energy vehicles in December 2022, compared with 93945 in the same period last year. Sales totaled 1863494 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 208.64 percent over the same period last year.

BYD sold a total of 11320 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in December, and exported a total of 55916 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 307.2 percent over the same period last year. By comparison, BYD sold a total of 12318 new energy passenger cars overseas in November.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD also announced that the total installed capacity of power and storage batteries for new energy vehicles in December 2022 would be about 11.152 GWh,2022 and the total annual cumulative installed capacity would be about 89.836 GWh.

A total of 946239 DM models were sold and 911140 EV models were sold in the whole year.

According to the classification, BYD brand dynasty and ocean sold a total of 1852625 vehicles in 2022, with a year-on-year increase of 228596 vehicles in December and a 73.9% increase in December sales of 6002 vehicles compared with the same period last year.
