Sabrent launches a new USB-C hard drive box that can install M.2 SSD + 3.5in HDD
CTOnews.com January 3 news, Sabrent today announced a USB-C hard drive box, model DS-UCMH, which can install an M.2 SSD inside and insert a 3.5-or 2.5-inch mechanical hard drive externally.
CTOnews.com learned that the hard drive box uses a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1 interface and has a theoretical speed connection of 10 Gbps. In addition, DS-UCMH has the function of offline cloning, which can be cloned between hard disks offline without host interaction, and the cloning direction can be determined by pressing the body key.
The DS-UCMH hard drive cartridge uses USB-C to transmit data and is powered by a 2A / 12V power adapter. The product is compatible with Microsoft Windows and macOS systems.
Officials have not yet announced the price and release time of the DS-UCMH hard drive box.
