CTOnews.com, January 5 (Xinhua)-- peripherals manufacturer Plugable unveiled a new Thunderbolt 4 docking station, the Plugable 16-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 Dock, for Apple's 14-and 16-inch MacBook Pro at the CES 2023 show. The dock, which has 16 ports, will be sold on Amazon for $299 from January 17.

CTOnews.com learned that the docking station is equipped with six USB-A ports (three 10 Gbps, two 5 Gbps, and one 480 Mbps), two USB-C ports (one 10 Gbps and one providing up to 100W charging power for MacBook Pro or other devices), two HDMI ports, two DisplayPort, one Ethernet port (2.5Gbps), SD and microSD card reader (UHS-II), and an audio input / output Jack.

The docking station has a separate power supply and is connected to the MacBook Pro via a Thunderbolt 4 cable. The docking station supports up to two 60Hz 4K display outputs after connecting 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.
