Motorola Announces support for Jio 5G Network for 10 Indian smartphones
CTOnews.com, January 5, Motorola announced today that it has enabled support for Jio 5G networks on 10 eligible devices sold in Asian countries. These devices will support 13 5G bands on Jio True 5G networks.
Motorola 5G users will be able to use Jio's 5G independent network independent of LTE, will have "the largest and best combination of 5G spectrum across the 700MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz bands", and will be perfectly connected through technologies such as 3CA (3-Carrier aggregation) and 4X4 MIMO.
These Motorola smartphones currently support only Jio True 5G networks, and 5G network support plans for other operators have not yet been announced.

CTOnews.com learned that the Jio True 5G network can be used in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Varanasi, Chennai and Bangalore. The complete list includes more than 60 cities, regions and regions, and the operator has pledged to provide a 5G network to "every town, every subdistrict and every administrative district" in India by December 2023.
