The Xuzhou production base of BYD new energy power battery, which laid the foundation, is located in Xuzhou Economic and technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan.

Among them, the first phase investment of 5 billion yuan (equipment investment of not less than 3 billion yuan), land of about 706mu, including clean, assembly, batching, dust-free, constant temperature, drying and other workshops, the construction of blade battery production line, some production lines are planned to be put into operation in December 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that data show that BYD sold 1868543 cars in 2022, up 152.5 per cent from a year earlier. Sales in December were 235197, an increase of 137.3% over the same period last year, of which 11320 passenger cars were exported.
