CTOnews.com Google will end support for Chrome on January 10 on Win7, Win8 and Win8.1. Chrome 109 will be the last version update for all three systems.

Google originally planned to stop supporting the three outdated Windows systems on July 15,2021, but Google postponed the time to July 15,2022 due to factors such as the New Crown epidemic. Google then postponed it until next Tuesday for various reasons.

CTOnews.com has learned that Google has previously sent Chrome users a notice saying that "to get subsequent Google Chrome updates, you need to upgrade to Windows 10 or later." The current device is running Win7."
