CTOnews.com, January 7, AMD announced a new product line for laptops at CES 2023, including the first mobile RDNA3 graphics cards and the first Zen4 processors. In addition, the company showed off the Ryzen 7000 desktop CPU, including the highly anticipated 3D V-Cache model.

AMD did not update the desktop GPU product line at CES 2023, so the current focus is on two graphics cards, Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX. In the latest official slide show, AMD called RX 7900XT "the fastest GPU at $900,900" and RX 7900XTX "the fastest GPU at $1000".

CTOnews.com learned that, according to independent tests, Radeon RX 7900 XT is indeed faster than 4070 Ti, which is not surprising given that it has more 8GB video memory and 67% memory bus. However, the gap is relatively small, fluctuating between 4% and 10% depending on the resolution. In addition, because the price of the Radeon GPU is $100 higher, the difference is even smaller when considering the price per dollar.
