CTOnews.com, January 10, according to the official website of the national standard information public service platform, the national standard "performance and installation requirements of Motor vehicle indirect Vision Devices" numbered GB 15084-2022 was released on December 29, 2022 and will be formally implemented on July 1, 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the name of the new standard has not changed and will all replace the GB 15084-2013 standard released in 2013.

It should be noted that the specific contents of the new standard have not been released yet and will not be officially made public until 20 working days after the release. According to the Internet of things think tank, one of the highlights of the new standard is that it can not only install electronic rearview mirrors, but also replace traditional optical rearview mirrors.

According to the June 2020 draft, a number of new terms have been added to the new standard, including the camera-monitor system (camera-monitor system, or CMS), or electronic rearview mirror. According to officials, the system uses a system of cameras and monitors to see the indirect field of view at the rear, side or front of the vehicle within a specified field of view.

Earlier this month, Lutes announced that it had become one of the first cars in China to be equipped with streaming mirrors to view the rear view through the screen. Streaming external rearview mirrors use smart sensors to replace traditional external rearview mirrors. Lutes officials say it can increase the horizontal field of vision by 50%, further reduce wind resistance and fold electrically.

According to the previous information, Lutes streaming external rearview mirror uses a 1280 × 720 resolution LCD screen, supports 15 brightness adjustment, the camera part uses water repellent material, but also can heat and melt snow, as well as blind area monitoring, door warning, rear crossing assistance and other functions. The optional vehicle, priced at 16000 yuan, will be delivered from July 1, the implementation date of "performance and installation requirements of indirect Vision Devices for Motor vehicles".
