YF-77 engine for long five rocket completes 100s calibration test
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen grass Luo Yuzi for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, January 11, according to the Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute, its YF-75 engine recently boosted the Chang 7A remote four rocket to put Shishi 23 satellite into orbit at the Wenchang launch site in Hainan, and the launch mission was a complete success.
The YF-77 engine used in the Chang 5 rocket recently completed a 100-second calibration test in the Beijing Yungang test-bed to obtain the real performance of the engine and calibrate the parameters. CTOnews.com learned that after data interpretation, the engine function and performance meet the technical requirements and are about to be delivered to the rocket as a whole.
At the same time, the upper-stage hydrogen and oxygen engine used for the new generation of manned launch vehicle completed the torch ignition ground test on the Beijing Yungang test bench, carried out three oxygen path filling tests and three ground environment torch ignition tests, and obtained the flow characteristics of the ground environmental oxygen ignition system, which laid a solid technical foundation for the follow-up promotion of engine development.
