Ink screen VR head display Sol Reader release: continue to sail for 30 hours, lie down and read e-book

The head is unique in that it uses an E-ink ink screen that users can wear on their heads and use it as an VR e-book that looks more like a pair of glasses.

The Sol Reader is equipped with a binocular ink screen, supports Bluetooth and WiFi connections, and has a USB-C interface for charging the device. Because of its unique display and single function, it lasts up to 30 hours, far more than any other VR head display, and weighs only 113g.

Sol eReader claims to be designed for users who lie flat and read e-books or other documents. Users do not need to hold a paper book by hand, can read it as soon as they open their eyes, turn the page through a wireless handle, and support diopter adjustment, but there are no other functions.

CTOnews.com has learned that the Sol eReader, which retails for $350 (currently about 2370 yuan), will be available in the fall of 2023.
