The patent of mobile phone and satellite communication in Star Age is authorized, and Meizu 20 series may be the first to adopt

CTOnews.com, January 12, according to the State intellectual property Office, the patent for "a satellite antenna transceiver module and mobile terminal" applied by Hubei Xingji Times Technology Co., Ltd. has been granted recently.

The utility model patent discloses a satellite antenna transceiver module and a mobile terminal. Wherein, the satellite antenna transceiver module is located in the metal frame of the mobile terminal, including a plurality of satellite antennas, and the distance between the adjacent satellite antennas is greater than the preset value; at least part of the plurality of satellite antennas is configured as a transmitting antenna, and the rest is configured as a receiving antenna.

The patent summary shows that the use of the satellite antenna transceiver module provided by the embodiment of the utility model on the mobile terminal improves the performance and communication quality of the antenna.

Considering that the patentee of the patent is Hubei Xingji Times Technology Co., Ltd., Meizu 20 series may be the first to adopt this technology. CTOnews.com learned that in July last year, Star Times announced that it had a controlling stake of 79.09 per cent of Meizu Technology and took separate control of Meizu Technology. Shen Ziyu, vice chairman of Star Times, who is also chairman of Meizu Technology, said Meizu will retain an independent team and launch a new flagship in 2023.

In November last year, Meizu Technology said that the new flagship will be the first to carry Qualcomm's second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The meizu M2392 Meizu phone has now appeared in the Geekbench, or "Meizu 20" series models, with a single core running score of 1409, a multi-core running score of 4199, a super-large core frequency of 3.19GHz, equipped with 12GB memory and an Android 13 operating system.
