Google Pixel Watch smartwatch push January update: fix the third-party dial 15 minutes later rest screen problem
CTOnews.com, January 13, Google Pixel Watch watches received its first OTA update in December last year, but there are still some problems that need to be fixed. Google has now released a January update of the watch, which will be rolled out gradually.
The main bug Bug fix in this version involves third-party dials-those that used to hold the screen after 15 minutes, even if the user enabled the Always On Display (AOD) constant display mode. This issue seems to be limited to old dials that are not using the new Jetpack dial library.
The update also includes a security patch for January 5. Firmware version RWD9.220429.073 (and Japan and Taiwan version is .J1).
CTOnews.com learned that the other change is that fall detection has been hidden. This feature is not ready and has not been fully tested, so it is an error to appear early in the watch menu. Fall detection is expected to be actually launched in the next few months.
