Sources say Intel "Lunar Lake" uses a completely redesigned architecture to bring more energy efficiency to mobile platforms.
CTOnews.com, January 13, according to Ian Cutress, a well-known hardware blogger, the architecture of Intel Lunar Lake series processors will be completely redesigned to focus more on the performance per watt of mobile devices. Intel is expected to share more information on the series of processors on the 26th of this month.
CTOnews.com learned that the Lunar Lake is not Intel's upcoming next-generation processor, but a model that ranks behind Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake and is still being designed.
According to the materials previously shared by Intel, the new generation of Meteor Lake will adopt Intel 4 process and external process, and introduce "Tile" design for the first time, integrating CPU, SOC, nuclear display and IOE chips. Different Tile may use different processes. Arrow Lake will also adopt the "Tile" design and upgrade the process to Intel 20A.
Intel did not share any more information about Lunar Lake, except to reveal that the series was originally designed for 15W low-power mobile CPU. According to Ian Cutress, we should see more news from Lunar Lake on the 26th of this month.
