Mercedes-AMG ONE, New North's fastest production car, begins delivery at 2.75 million euros

CTOnews.com, January 16 (Xinhua) five years ago, Mercedes-AMG unveiled the Project One concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and in June 2022, the production version of the car was unveiled and named AMG ONE, and now the fastest production car with an F1 engine is finally being delivered.

The supercar carries a German "ON1" license plate and is mostly black with green embellishment. The AMG ONE is currently the fastest production car on the Nurburgring, Hockenheim and Red Bull circuit, producing only 275 cars.

It is not known who was the first owner, but F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and David Coulthard have all bought the car. In addition, the first users included real estate tycoon Manny Khoshbin, actor Mark Wahlberg and tennis star Ion Hiliak iriac.

CTOnews.com learned that the AMG ONE is equipped with a Formula one-based hybrid powertrain with a 1.6L V6 turbocharged engine and four electric motors with a total power of 782kW (1063 horsepower). The motor sports experts are also responsible for the development and production of power units for Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 cars at the Mercedes-AMG high-performance powertrain in Brixworth (England). Vehicle production will be made in the UK. To this end, AMG has established a special production line in cooperation with manufacturing partner Multimatic.

The Mercedes-AMG ONE can accelerate from zero to 100km / h in 2.9s. It reaches 200 km / h in 7.0 seconds and 300 km / h in 15.6 seconds. It can reach a maximum of 352 km / h. In pure electric mode, it can travel 18.1 km on a single charge.

Mercedes-AMG ONE is also expensive, as high as 2.75 million euros (currently about 19.993 million yuan).
