CTOnews.com understands that Blizzard today also released an update on the breakup with Netease: it said it contacted Netease again last week and sought assistance to discuss the extension of the existing agreement based on the established terms agreed by Netease in 2019 for six months. However, Netease did not accept its proposal to extend the existing game service agreement after last week's extension negotiations. Blizzard will therefore suspend its national game service on January 23 in compliance with NetEase's suspension notice.
