CTOnews.com, January 18, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple's new generation of HomePod smart speakers will be launched "soon."

Apple halted production of the original full-size HomePod speaker in March 2021, allegedly due to poor sales, but the high-quality smart speaker still has a lot of fans and there have been rumors for some time that the new full-size HomePod will return.

Gurman has previously said he does not think the new HomePod will be "revolutionary", but will have more competitive prices, updated top touch panels and S8 chips from the latest Apple Watch models.

Analyst Guo Mingyi also said that Apple has been working on an updated version of HomePod, which is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2023.
