For wafer foundry, a source from the industry chain said that compared with other processes, the demand for 22/28nm and 40nm processes from wafer-free manufacturers has been relatively stable.

From the relevant media reports, the demand for 22/28nm and 40nm process is relatively stable, mainly because there are a large number of terminal products in the world, which need these kinds of process chips.

At present, in the global foundry field, although Samsung Electronics and TSMC have successively mass-produced 5nm, 3nm and other advanced process processes, it is generally believed that the demand of non-wafer manufacturers for advanced process processes, mainly in smart phones and high-performance computing chips, there are still a large number of chips using mature process processes such as 28nm, and there is still a great demand for these processes.
