Samsung is working with iFixit to provide regular replacement parts, tools and guidelines for users who want to repair their own equipment.

In addition to the Galaxy Tab S7 + tablet, the self-service program initially supported the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series phones. Samsung is now expanding the program to include more devices. Add support for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra phones, and the initiative now covers Samsung laptops.

Samsung confirmed that its self-service program is being extended to five new Galaxy devices. This includes all three models of the Galaxy S22 series. Galaxy Book Pro 15-inch and Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch laptops are also included in the plan.

IFixit remains Samsung's partner in the program. Samsung Galaxy Book users can get seven original replacement parts for repairs. These components include the front and rear housing, battery, display screen, touchpad, power key with fingerprint sensor and rubber foot pad. Users who want to self-service Galaxy S22 devices will be able to obtain original charging ports, rear cover glass and display components from iFixit. Users can purchase these maintenance kits.
