CTOnews.com learned that this transmission verification is based on China Telecom Guangzhou-Shanghai-Guangzhou 3820km all G.654.E land trunk optical cable, only through EDFA optical amplification to achieve one-hop direct.

According to reports, the new generation of 400Gbit / s commercial equipment uses the highest baud rate (107GBaud) line module that can be mass-produced in the industry, combined with high-gain SD-FEC technology, Nyquist subcarrier and probabilistic constellation shaping technology, to improve 2dB transmission performance compared with the previous generation 400Gbit / s system. Within the spectral width of C-band 4.8THz, the 118.75GHz channel spacing is divided, and the 40-channel 16Tbit / s super-large capacity transmission is realized. At the same time, the system supports Crunl band and can achieve 80 × 400Gbit / s 32Tbit / s super-large transmission capacity.
