CTOnews.com January 21 news, Microsoft released Microsoft Edge 109.0.1518.49 stable version update on the 13th of this month, Microsoft released stable version update again on the 19th, version number rose to 109.0.1518.61. This update focuses on fixing vowel inflections printing issues.

CTOnews.com understands that Edge 109.0.1518.61 contains the latest security updates from the Chromium project and explicitly fixes the CVE-2023-21719 vulnerability, according to Microsoft's official update logs.

The vulnerability has a CVSS:3.1 score of 6.5 /5.7 and allows attacks via crafted URLs. If the user clicks on this link, an attacker could bypass Edge's autofill protection feature.

Edge 109.0.1518.61 also fixes printing issues in versions.49 through.55 where print preview would jam when printing documents containing special characters such as vowel diacritics.
