Sources say Sony will launch PS5 Pro in April this year, using liquid-cooled heat dissipation system.
CTOnews.com January 23 news, PS5 has been launched for more than two years, it is reported that Sony is currently preparing to launch the PlayStation 5 Pro, with a new design.
CTOnews.com learned that whistleblower Abhishek Yadav quoted an unnamed source as saying that Sony would launch a new PS5 Pro as early as April 2023.
Sources confirmed that this will be a Pro model, not the previously rumored Slim ultra-thin model. As a Pro model, it is expected to have better performance, perhaps with a new chip from AMD.
According to sources, in addition to improving performance, the main change in the Pro version is the cooling system. PS5's cooling system uses fans and liquid metal compounds, and it is reported that the Pro model will switch to a liquid-cooled system, also known as a "water-cooled" system, which is commonly used in some games PC.
Sony has not acknowledged the existence of the PS5 Pro, so it remains to be seen.
