With the flexibility to evade and attack enemies, Twitch anchor Perrikaryal uses brainwaves to play "Alden Ring"

CTOnews.com, January 24, Twitch game anchor Perrikaryal recently designed a way to use brainwaves to control game characters. She uses an electroencephalogram (EEG) to monitor brain activity, and then certain types of brain activity are mapped to different movements of the game.

Perrikaryal's goal is to get to the point where you can fully control the characters with only EEG, but she says it will take a long time to develop and run-in.

CTOnews.com learned that she uses specialized software to map different types of brain activity to various in-game controls, enabling her to summon allies, attack enemies, cast spells, and so on without touching the physical handle.

In a recent demonstration, she said that after a period of running-in, she basically achieved operations such as avoiding damage and attacking enemies in the popular game "Elden Ring".
