The red wine identification and shopping service of Samsung mobile phone Bixby Vision will be suspended from February.

Samsung's Bixby has announced changes to its service, and Bixby's visual wine identification function and shopping service will be available by the end of January. This means that these features will be discontinued from February. Users can also view the notification by going to more options > Settings > about Bixby Vision > Service Notification in Bixby Vision.
Late last year, Android Police posted that there were signs that Samsung might cut its own voice assistant service, Bixby. Compared with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple's Siri, Samsung's Bixby is slow and inaccurate, which is of little use to Samsung Galaxy phone users.
CTOnews.com learned that Samsung announced in 2020 that it would no longer develop Bixby Vision, an AR feature. These functions allow users to try on makeup, decorate their homes, and so on. Basic visual search and translation functions still exist, but most of what the service can provide has disappeared. Two years later, it is still a basic function and no improvement has been seen at all.
