CTOnews.com January 26, Google's Material You theme provides a consistent color scheme on Android. Google is now providing Material You design for the address bar of Google Chrome browser on Android, bringing more dynamic colors.

When the user clicks on the address bar, it no longer appears as a small pill-like container. The new shape is a little larger and now has a more rectangular shape, in line with the Google Material You theme. Search results, websites, and suggestions are no longer displayed as text on a light / dark background. Instead, each web result or suggestion is placed on its own separate card in the Google Chrome browser.

It is worth noting that the background of the card is slightly brighter than the rest of the screen to highlight the search results. Dynamic color schemes help pages look less cluttered without having too much impact on the way the text is displayed. 9To5Google pointed out that the Google Chrome Material You address bar looks like a unified Pixel Launcher search. This time, however, the design will also appear on Samsung Galaxy or other Android phones.

CTOnews.com learned that the Google Chrome Material You address bar redesign function was tested through the Beta channel. This feature is now available in stable channels of Chrome 109s. Note that this is a server-side update and does not require any manual action. Once the feature is available in the user's region, you will see these changes in Google Chrome. Users can also use Chrome Flag:chrome://flags/#omnibox-modernize-visual-update to enable new visual updates.
