CTOnews.com, January 27 (Xinhua)-- Lauren Sanchez, girlfriend of Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos, said the company plans to send a crew of entirely female astronauts into suborbit within the next year, according to the Wall Street Journal.

She revealed that she plans to lead a team of five to complete the mission through the New Shepard Orbiter of Blue Origin. Unfortunately, the identities of the other five passengers are not yet clear, but Sanchez told the Wall Street Journal that they will be "women who are changing the world, influential and able to convey messages."

CTOnews.com has reported that Blue Origin has so far launched six manned missions, all based on reusable New Shepard aircraft, the first by Bezos and three others in July 2021; the second manned flight in October 2021 sent four people to suborbit; and the next four manned missions carried six passengers.

In fact, the blue origin of this manned flight time is very short, can be regarded as suborbital travel, from lift-off to landing is usually about 11 minutes.
