Enter the automobile field? Meizu applies for Unbounded Automobile Trademark

CTOnews.com January 28 news, Zhuhai Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. has applied for registration of two "borderless car" trademarks, international classification are means of transport, the current trademark status is in the process of application.

According to reports, Meizu posted a number of car-related positions on the recruitment website, which was regarded as a signal that Meizu was going to build a car. In response, Meizu Technology PR responded: "the company is indeed storing relevant talents in the automotive field." Yang Xueliang, senior vice president of Geely Automobile, said: "this is a misreading. Meizu does not build cars, but only provides services for car companies."

CTOnews.com found that at present, there are already a Shenzhen Wangjie Automobile Leasing Co., Ltd., Chongqing Wangjie Automobile Leasing Co., Ltd., and an Anhui Wujie Automobile Service Co., Ltd., the former is wholly owned by Shenzhen Heyi Network Technology Co., Ltd., involved in car rental and other projects; Anhui this company mainly engaged in new car retail (including Internet retail) projects.
