CTOnews.com, January 31, according to Michael Steeber, which tracks Apple store information, the Apple Tice's Corner Apple store in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey will be temporarily closed for renovation from Tuesday, January 31, and the date of reopening has not yet been announced.

Apple's Tice's Corner is the company's only remaining retail store designed on behalf of the store in early 2001, with a black exterior wall and two backlit Apple logos at the entrance. The scope of the upcoming renovation is not clear, so it remains to be seen whether the exterior walls will be updated, Steeber said.

Apple's Tice's Corner retail store first opened in November 2001, just months after Apple opened its first retail stores in Tysons, Va., and Glendale, Calif., which have updated their facades in the past.

CTOnews.com has learned that Apple operates more than 520 retail stores around the world and plans to open its first stores in India and Malaysia in the coming months.
