CTOnews.com January 31, the KDE project team recently launched Plasma Mobile 23.01. in addition to fixing many of the BUG existing in previous versions, a large number of components have been updated and some new features have been introduced.

Plasma Mobile is a free and open source smartphone user interface that runs on the Linux distribution, making your phone a powerful tool that can be customized at will.

Plasma Mobile is developed based on excellent projects such as cross-platform program toolset Qt, powerful and flexible KDE program framework, and widely acclaimed Plasma desktop shell. It can provide a smooth and comfortable experience whether on a mobile phone or in a computer.

Plasma Mobile 23.01 improved navigation in landscape mode on phones and tablets, improved lock screen interface to prevent crashes and correct display of wallpaper.

Many Plasma Mobile applications, including Clock and PlasmaTube, have also been updated in the new version. The new Clock app adds a sidebar based on the label bar to make more rational use of the horizontal screen space. The PlasmaTube app improves video playback when navigating other pages.

The Alligator RSS client is also updated in Plasma Mobile 23.01, and the new version of UI is specially optimized for tablet devices; the new version also upgrades the QMLKonsole terminal emulator, which gets support for command-line parameters when starting the application; and the new version of Koko image viewer now has a new settings component and a new confirmation dialog box when abandoning image editing.
