Apple announced its latest quarterly results: total revenue was $117.2 billion, down 5% from a year earlier, and the number of global active devices exceeded 2 billion

CTOnews.com, February 3 (Xinhua)-- Apple today reported fiscal 2023 fiscal quarter 1 (Q4 2022) results, with total revenue of $117.2 billion (currently about 789.928 billion yuan), quarterly net profit of $30 billion (currently about 202.2 billion yuan) and diluted earnings per share of $1.88.

For comparison, Apple reported total revenue of $123.9 billion (a difference of $6.7 billion), quarterly net profit of $34.6 billion (a difference of $4.6 billion) and diluted earnings per share of $2.10 in fiscal 2022 (Q4 2021).

Diluted earnings per share is based on basic earnings per share, assuming that all dilutive potential common shares issued by the company have been converted into common shares, thus adjusting the current net profit attributable to common shareholders and the weighted average number of common shares issued.
