Only one year after its launch, Crossing Fire Line X announced that it would be shut down and removed from Xbox on May 18.

Although the game is well received, it is a free multiplayer game, and Xbox Game Pass has no subscribers for its single-player campaign mode at all, so the revenue is worrying.

In addition, there was a large number of Bug in the multiplayer part, which received a lot of criticism at the beginning of the release, and because of the lack of innovative gameplay, Remedy had to launch a new model six days after the release of the single player campaign of Crossing Fireline X (February 16, 2022), but still failed to arouse player interest.

In this way, just one year after its launch, Smilegate Entertainment announced that the game would be completely shut down on May 18 this year, and immediately stop selling it on Xbox Store.

CTOnews.com warns that players who bought from January 20 to February 3 (within the past 14 days) can also submit refund applications to Xbox. In addition, the game will not add any new content, such as maps, patterns.

Developers encourage players to enjoy previously purchased and unlocked game content before a complete shutdown on May 18, as the single-player part will no longer be accessible after suspension.
