CTOnews.com, February 4 (Xinhua)-- with the recent release of the Galaxy S23 series models, Samsung has launched OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13. In addition to the significant enhancement of photo album functionality in this update, another noteworthy new feature is the introduction of a brand new battery Widget.

The new battery Widget on OneUI 5.1 offers two different style options, both of which perform very well on the Galaxy S23 series models.

The first battery Widget option displays the battery status of smartphones and connected devices in 4 × 1 format. The second option is similar to the Smart Suggestions Widget in OneUI 5. 0, with a rectangular shape and a green bar to show the battery status.

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch its OneUI 5.1 upgrade plan for older models in the near future, which means that models that support adaptations will also get the battery Widget.
