Samsung Galaxy Store finally got the Material You dynamic app icon.

CTOnews.com February 6, with the release of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has returned to software update development. Samsung has released a February 2023 security patch for the Galaxy Note 20 series. Now, Samsung has also released a new Material You app icon for Galaxy Store.

Since last year, Samsung has launched Material You dynamic app icons for built-in apps on mobile phones. However, not all built-in applications have been updated with the new design language. Now Samsung has launched a new update to Galaxy Store, with Material You dynamic app icons. Some users are starting to get an update for version 6.6.09.62 of the application. If you want to update the application, open Galaxy Store and check if you have received the update.

CTOnews.com learned that some users who have not yet received updates can try to change the date of their phones to February 7, 2023, a technique that has been proven to be feasible. They received the Material You dynamic application icon for Galaxy Store. The new icon changes its original pink to a color inspired by the color of the phone's wallpaper.

Samsung is expected to update all of its built-in apps (even those that are not pre-installed on smartphones and tablets) with Material You app icons. This will provide a consistent look and feel for the entire UI. If users don't like it, you can also disable the appearance of Material You dynamic application icons from the settings.
