Twitter also announced a paid Twitter API today and limited the number of free Twitter API tweets to 1500 per month.
Twitter said in its latest tweet that free Twitter API will continue to be available in the future, but only 1500 tweets can be posted per account per month. The company said the decision was made to "improve quality, reduce spam and achieve a prosperous ecosystem".
