BOE An announced in October 2022 that Beijing BOE Chuangyuan Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, intends to invest in the construction of a sixth-generation semiconductor display production line using LTPO technology in the Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone, focusing on the layout of the VR display product market, further enriching the company's product structure, and consolidating the company's leading position in the semiconductor display industry.

CTOnews.com obtained the specific information of the project according to the announcement, the project is about 630mu, with a total construction area of 608924 square meters, and mainly produces high-end display products such as VR display panel, MiniLED direct display backplane and so on. The construction period of the project is from 2023 to 2025, with mass production in 2025 and full production in 2026, with a total investment of 29 billion yuan.
