CTOnews.com February 14 news, FAW Group officials learned that in 2022, FAW-Volkswagen achieved its annual profit target of 41.5 billion yuan, completed vehicle production of 1.819 million vehicles, and achieved sales of 1.802 million vehicles.

FAW-Volkswagen said that in 2023, a series of targeted strategic layouts will be made for new energy products, MEB (electrified platform), hybrid trend and intelligent network connection.

Sales data show that FAW-Volkswagen accumulated terminal sales of 1.8236 million new cars (including Audi imported cars) in 2022. Among them, Volkswagen brand terminal sales 1.0411 million, Audi brand terminal sales of 635600 (including imported cars), Jetta brand terminal sales of 146900.

CTOnews.com learned from the data released by the Federation of passengers that retail sales of narrow passenger cars nationwide reached 20.543 million units in 2022, an increase of 1.9 percent over the same period last year. Among them, BYD won the first place with retail sales of 1.805 million vehicles, with a market share of 8.8%, while FAW-Volkswagen ranked second with sales of 1.779 million vehicles, with a market share of 8.7%.
