CTOnews.com February 16, Apple today released updates to macOS Big Sur 11.7.4 and Safari 16.3.1, mainly fixing a problem with incorrect display of Safari favorites icons.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that "the Safari favorites icon does not display properly due to the update of Apple macOS 11.7.3", when many affected users complained about the problem on the Apple support community, Twitter, Reddit and other online platforms.

Apple said on the macOS Big Sur 11.7.4 security software page that this update has also released a number of security updates to further improve the reliability of the system.

Apple also released an update to Safari 16.3.1 today, which also fixed the problem that favorites icons were not displayed correctly.
